Rick Warren has prepared and produced 6 video studies
for small groups that summarize God's purposes for our lives connected
with
the 40 Days of Purpose. Rick says “The
reason I put these messages on videotape is simple: I want EVERYONE in
our church family to hear them and we couldn't fit everyone into a single
meeting!”
For these 40 Days
at The Vine we will be having new home groups! We will use two methods
to fill these groups in our homes.
1.
We will publish a list of host homes that people
can put their name on.
2.
We will give you invitation cards to give to your
co-workers, neighbours, relatives & friends.
If you have a DVD or Video player we need your help!!
All I'm asking you
to do is open your home during the 40 Days of Purpose and show these
6 video/DVD studies on the Purpose Driven Life to the people you invite
to your home. You don't have to be a leader or a teacher. Just a host!
Before each video lesson, there is a 3-minute instructional video just
for the hosts where it i explains how to be a host for that session.
It's really simple. So I have a request and challenge for you. I need
you to be one of 20 (lots of faith) host homes during 40 Days of Purpose
if you meet one of the following qualifications:
1.
If you are a member - I need you to be a host
home!
2.
If you are currently a member of a small group – I
need you to be a host home!
What you need to do now is fill out one of the host
home commitment cards, and take it to Merv.
Please take this simple step of faith. You can do this. We will
send you some people to watch the video. Your church needs you and
your
living room.
