We believe that we are being called to create a centre
of excellence here in St.Ives and Penwith for all. A very modern open building
that will be adapted to serve God in this generation
- The St.Ives Elim Centre. (The name Elim means A Place of Refreshing).
We as a church are here to serve our NON-MEMBERS and believe that we should
build
a
place that can hold;-
A prayer centre for front line ministry.
A Christian resource centre/library.
A café. A meeting/worship/conference centre.
A place where we can broadcast Christian Community
Local radio for St.Ives for 1 month a year.
A centre that all the community will feel welcomed
into.
A centre for parent & toddler groups – after
school clubs.
A computer suite for training purposes.
A counselling centre, where locals can come
to receive Marriage,relational, drug & alcohol counselling
from trained workers.
A training place, where people from all over
the area will come, to be trained in Schools work.
Where we can encourage people to take up roles
in the community, such as Local government, school governors and
school helpers.
A venue where we can offer affordable church
weddings & be able to offer low cost receptions.
For the church to disciple all in effective ministry
and mission in the world.
