Pastoral Care

While many churches may only have the pastor or minister doing the pastoral care we believe that this can best be done by the leaders of the homegroups.

The homegroups are in the process of being restructured as the church enters into a new and exciting phase of its development. We now meet in three groups (which will beome more as the church grows in numbers), we are following the Celebrate Recovery program to gain healing for ourselves and to train for using the tool to minister outside the church in the autumn of this year. The pastoral care team which includes the pastor, elder and deaconate (operations team), are actively involved as sponsors/accountability partners for those dealing with issues raised during the program.

Pastoral visits can be performed by any of the leadership team. If you have need of a pastoral visit or are aware of the need of a pastoral visit please telephone 01736 365982.

The elders are actively involved in the homegroups and provide support and guidance to the homegroup leader on pastoral issues.
