Prayer

We are a church that is seriously committed to Prayer to see the touch of God in our lives, our locality and our Nation. We know that Prayer changes things and having a living faith means that we know that God wants us to speak and listen to Him (pray).

We encourage people to communictae with our Heavenly Father in prayer all the time, and corporately together at their Homegroups, and at our church prayer meeting on Wednesdays at 11.00am (for church members only). If you want to know more and see God moving in your life and touching the peoples around you, speak to one of the Leaders and come along and join us for the adventure in Prayer.

We have an urgent prayer request system to communicate prayer requests to all church members please call the Pastor with any requests and we will endeavour to communicate the request around the members.

The pastor and his wife, are to be the hosts of the Cornwall House of Prayer - Hebron, being planned and built Setpember 2011. This is an associate ministry of The Vine but does not come under any denominational umbrella and is open to all who wish to gather for prayer. It is likely that the House of Prayer will be used for many of The Vines corporate prayer gatherings. Please visit the website and find out more of the exciting adventure God is taking us on together.

The Vine is developing a weekly prayer walking strategy and we will walk our parish as a regular targetted event from September. We are also launching a new initiative to reach our communities needs in prayer called "Prayer Partners" read more by clicking here. We also have a prayer chain for urgent prayer matters to be communicated to our members. If you are a member and wish to activate the prayer chain please contact Margaret Peacock.

We encourage our members to offer prayer and practical support (as appropriate) to anyone as an opening in evangelism, we believe God wants to reveal His power to everyone who asks.

We are committed to pray for all leaders, and support the work of Christians in Parliament, and the Care Interns working there by sending a respresentative to stand with them in their prayer meetings.

We encourage soaking prayer and will provide opportunities for us corporately to soak in Gods presence.

Unity in prayer and the power of the cross joins us and other churches in our community to work together to see His kingdom extended. We will continue to seek to support and work with our brothers and sisters in this area in prayer.

We will be launching regular 24 hour period of continuous prayer, and eventually weekly prayer surgeries. These will be joint church events, and offer prayer to the anyone seeking a touch of God for healing, salvation or any need. Check the prayer events page for more details.
