All for the ONE and The ONE for us all . . . To know Christ and to make Him known
Church Life
Church has left the building - Prayer

We are a church that is seriously committed to Prayer to see the touch of God in our lives, our locality and our Nation. We know that Prayer changes things and having a living faith means that we know that God wants us to speak and listen to Him (pray).

From September we will restart prayer walking our parish. All members are asked to let the leaders know of their availability and commitment to pray for specific areas.

Prayer Walking is briefly defined as "PRAYING ON SITE WITH INSIGHT". When we go out into the community we are seeking Gods blessing on our neighbours and for an outbreak of kingdom awareness in the town and surrounding villages we represent. We are intent in breaking demonic strongholds as we pray and plead the blood of Jesus Christ for St Ives and its surrounds. We are asking the Father to reveal specific targets for prayer as we walk our "parish" and claim the ground where our feet tread.

Our primary target area is Penbeagle, St Ives but we will walk the communities where God has already placed members of The Vine. We believe in the Nehemiah wisdom of placing warriors and builders on the walls close to their homes. It confirms Gods wisdom in where He has placed us to live, it releases the power to witness to our neighbours, it brings protection on our homes and blessing on the homes of our neighbours.

We will prayer walk - Penbeagle, St Johns Walk, Stennack, Halsetown/Nancledra/Castlegate/Ludgvan, Carbis Bay and Hayle - prepare yourselves.

We are also launching in parallel to prayer walking and as part of prayer walking - Prayer Partners and Prayer Station.

For more details on Prayer Partners see the seperate page linked where highlighted but watch out fo members walking your neighbourhood if you want people to pray with.

The Prayer Station is a gazebo which we will site at markets, fairs, festivals etc to offer prayer to anyone, it will be staffed by our prayer partners. The gazebo is identifiable as shown below.
