Put yourself in Noah's shoes as he left the ark looked at a scene of total devastation on the whole planet, and God said "Go forth and increase". Ever felt like Noah, resource less, in a barren place, where the task of rebuilding your own life, let alone a planet, seems impossible. God says to us today, as He said to Adam, Noah and Abraham "INCREASE". Something even the church finds difficult to do. But the word came out of Gods mouth, with the same power and force as each word spoken over creation.
In fact God blessed them to increase, and He blesses us with the same blessing. To increase in numbers, family, favour, health, wealth, success etc. He has spoken into being that which may not yet exist, but be sure if we believe and co-labour with Him it will happen.
God wants to rebuild the garden of Eden, heaven in earth, through His church. Consider
Isaiah 51:1-3 "Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him." For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. NKJV
Are you seeking the Lord? Are you hewn from the rock of our salvation? Have you been saved by Jesus from a miry pit? If you have answered yes to these questions then He intends to bless (anoint, empower) you to create Eden in the harshest of environments. Praise the Lord. If you think this was a one off thought consider also:
Ezekiel 36:33-36 "'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. They will say, "This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited." Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.' NIV
May the Lord stir faith and belief in your heart to increase and bring heaven to earth.
